I've had the same issue the last few days. Someone named "kiddycat2938-us" playing playlists through my computer.
Additionally it indicates somehow to spotify that I am on too many devices and the iOS app removes all of my downloaded music so I can't access that. I get no choice. Also they were able to delete several of my playlists which I recovered.
It seems like it has been resolved for now, I am not getting interrupted anymore now. Hope it will stay this way!
What I did:
Logout everywhere (again) and change Facebook password. Contacted Spotify via chat, they helped me to resolve this by totally deactivating my account and my Premium subscription and reactivating it.
Since then, no problems anymore 😄
I did not lose any data like playlists or anything.
Me too! Is Spotify fixing this problem? I just changed passwords, not sure if it has worked yet.
Can't say for sure if it has been fixed yet. Sadly though, this is the time you can get your 2017 wrapped page at https://2017wrapped.com/nl/, and the playlist that I get for my top 100 songs is riddled with garbage that this erindavis23 has been spamming my account with.
Also, no, this hasn't been fixed yet. I just got interrupted again by erindavis23.
Happens to me on a regular base, annoying the Heck outta me >.<
1) dosn't really matter, using spotify app on windows and linux, or android happens on all of them
2) Facebook and direct login (just discauthed facebook as security measure tho)
3) Premium
4) On a regular base
5) yet to see
6) No
7) nope, manual password manager it is with strong passwords
i am no longer experiencing this issue.
i did mentioned this issue to spotify on Twitter, they responded to me. so i think it's been fixed by spotify
erindavis23! Yep! It’s happening to me too! Had to contact support to deactivate my account etc. Same rubbish Enrique Iglesias music in my playlist now too! If it happens again, I’ll be moving elsewhere.
Exact same issue! I have Spotify Premium. Same user (erindavis23), same songs that keep interrupting what I'm playing. Have Spotify acknowledged this issue at all?
I'm also having this exact problem. Haven't found any solutions yet. Seems to be very strage bug.
I just got hit with this bullcrap, changed my p/w, logged out everywhere and disabled the use of webplayer. Hope it helps 😕
So no, Spotify hasn’t fixed this yet..
Yesterday it happend again (erindavis23).
Hope they are going to fix this because I aint paying for premium to get my playlist interrupted by some random account with random playlists.
Same problem. Same username. This seams to be a serious security problem.
