Playlist on iphone app, how to change order?

On my playlist on the computer the newest added song can be put on top so i go from newest to oldest added song. But on my iphone app i cant find how to change order, does anyone know how i change it?

Yup. I've been scouring the internet looking for a way to sort my songs in my playlist by album. Apparently we can only sort them by artist and title. Aghhhhb this is so frustrating. Spotify has the most minute and simple problems 😞

The trick is in after scrolling to the top of the playlist, you then scroll and kind of drag the view just that little further.... until the block with the name of the playlist is in view, there above that is the field "filter" with the little 3 lined icon on the right.  tap that and up comes "sort by".... frustrating, but there it is.

So no way to sort by Album on the iphone?  No problem on the Mac...

Once you scroll to the top of the playlist and drag it that little further and see the Filter box with the little 3 lined icon next to it, click that icon and, a "Sort By" menu appears.  The only options on an iPhone are Custome Title, Artist and Recently added.  So no Albumn option on iphone, that is only an option on your desktop Mac.

I've had success with this approach:

1. Sort the playlist by album on my computer (Mac) and press play

2. Open spotify on my IPhone and go to the playlist - it is now sorted by album

I FOUND A SOLUTION!!!!! i had changed the order awhile ago on one of my playlists but i had forgot how to do it to my other one BUT I JUST DID IT AGAI!!

1. go into the playlist

2. click the ‘…’ 

3. scroll down until you see ‘edit’

4. at the top right there is the word ‘done’ right below it there are 3 little lines

5. CLICK THE 3 LINES!!

seriously? this is the fix, what bull$h!t. my play list is 1100 songs and they are in exact reverse order yea right im dragging 1000 songs on a playlist. fix this asap!!!
