Playlists missing songs

I have several playlists on my iphone that had imported itunes songs (i don't have the playlists on itunes anymore), I went on today and noticed that my playlists say they have a particular amount of songs (say 100), but then when I go into it its only got the songs in that I have added manually from Spotify or that are in my local files so in reality about 10, the other 90 songs are no where to be seen (all the songs which were imported from itunes but not downloaded locally aren't in my playlist). I have the show unavailable songs option on so this isnt the issue and I went onto my PC Spotify app and all the tracks are available on there and play fine but arent replicated on my phone?! Any help would be much appreciated!
