[Podcast] Episodes not marked as finished and not played in order

My Question or Issue

Hiyas, I am listening to podcasts on my phone, but even tho listening to an episode until the very end the episodes are not marked as finished.
If I go back to the unfinished episode and try to play it again I get about 2 seconds of silence until a random episode of the same podcast is played. 
Not the next one in the order I selected, not the next neighbour but any episode.

When I try to switch to my Desktop version I get the same error from there.
