Hey @alanmclean,
Thanks for posting in the Community.
Do you mind, that you're using the search function on your watch? If this is the case, the search functionality of the watch may be limited.
It'll be also helpful if you post some screenshots describing the experience. This way we can understand better what's going on on your end.
Keep us posted,
Cheers!
Thanks for replying. I enclose a screenshot of my podcast library. Some are stored under an icon and these are searchable. I have saved some which are automatically put into generic "your episodes" and "New episodes" folders. These ones are not found by my watch. How can I put them all in searchable named folders please? I presume it is something to do with the way I download them.
Regards
Alan
Hey @alanmclean,
Thank you for keeping in contact and for the screenshot shared.
To search for your podcasts more easily, we'd recommend adding them to a regular playlist that could be searchable and downloaded on your iPhone and Watch.
However, we need some more info to have a better context of the issue and which "icon" you mean. Could you record a short video where we can take a better look? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it).
We'll be on the lookout.
Hi, thanks for replying. I enclose a series of screenshots. By "Icon" I mean the little picture representing a folder/group of podcasts. These are the little squares in the screenshots.
1. I look for a podcast (bcc)
2. I hit the download arrow
3. The podcast is added to "Your episodes"
Podcasts in the "Your episodes" folder is not seen by watch.
Some of my podcasts are in named folders which are searchable. I don't know why some are put in "Your episodes" and some in named folders. I'd be grateful to know where I'm going wrong.
Regards
Alan
Hey @alanmclean,
Thank you for keeping in contact and for the information shared.
Currently, we're having some issues reported with BBC podcasts. We'd like to know if this issue happens just with this podcast or with other shows too.
Also, would you mind adding a BBC episode to a playlist and downloading it to check if it shows in your watch? This will give us a better look at your issue.
We'll be on the lookout.
