Recent activity not showing in app

I tap the circle icon on the home page and all it does is “spins” non stop. Like it’s loading but it’s not. My phone and the app is up to date, I’ve restarted the app and tried it on and off WiFi

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

We understand you've already tried some troubleshooting steps on your affected device, but we'd like you to perform, if you haven't yet, a clean (more thorough) reinstall of the Spotify app. You can find out the steps to do it here.
 

If the above doesn't do the trick, would you mind sending us the make/model and OS of the affected device along with the Spotify version you're running there?

Lastly, would you mind sending us a video recording of this behavior on your next reply? You can attach the video in your next reply in mp4 format, or you can also upload it to YouTube or Google drive and make it public, so we can visualize it.
