Shuffle + repeat options keep resetting

Shuffle + repeat option keeps resetting on my iphone 7. It has done it for a while and is really annoying because everytime i start playing a song now in my car i have to check that it is on shuffle. My songs stay the same so cant the shuffle option be saved a similar way so that i activate shuffle once and a year from now its still on shuffle even if i turn my phone of or closes the app and so on?

Please uninstall current app and install the latest one on App Store.
