Songs jump and skip after iOS 12 update

I have updated my iPhone to the latest iOS 12 update and here's what came up: while listening to a song on Spotify, the song skips when these actions are done on the iPhone's default camera app: 1. When you open the app (anywhere, from the lockscreen or when unlocked) 2. When you take an HDR photo, sometimes even just a normal one 3. When you open the photo you just took I saw that Spotify provided an update to adhere to the latest iOS update but the issues are still there.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps. I tested all of these in 3 different iOS 12 devices and nothing unusual happened 🙂

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
