Spotify Carplay equalizer

When using Apple carplay in my Mercedes i recon a big difference in the sound quality, comparied to when i use bluethoot conected spotify to the original entertainment system.

I believe the reason is because i trimmed the equalizer on the orignigal system, but carplay dosent seem to adapt these equalizer settings.

I can not find any equalizer function in spotify or in carplay at all. That is such a shame because i love to use spotify on carplay, but the music sounds awful without triming equalizer in my car. 

Does anyone have a suggestion for what can do?

Spotify does have an equalixer built in. Just go to Playback inside Settings to find it.

This is 6 years old, but I've been looking into this myself and to me it does not seem that the spotify equalizer works when using phone to wirelessly connect to carplay
