Spotify Connect's Inconsistent Volume Steps

Hello everyone,

 

I would like to address an ongoing issue that has been plaguing the Spotify mobile app for a couple of years now. It concerns the inconsistent volume steps when using Spotify Connect to stream music to another device.

 

When using Spotify Connect (e.g. AirPlay or Chromecast), the volume steps can vary between 2-3, making it difficult to find the perfect volume level for your music.

 

This issue has been around since 2021, and despite several reports from users and acknowledgment from Spotify's internal teams, it still persists. While a Spotify forum moderator stated that they are working on a fix, no timeline was given for when it will be addressed.
