New to community, just signed up because of this issue. Spotify not updating on IOS update today. 

 

Turned Notifications back on. Works like a charm. Hmmmmm..........

Hi there and welcome to the Spotify Community.

 

Seems the app store doesn't check every minute but only once a day or something. Probably you have to update manually using the following steps:

 

  1. starting the app store
  2. go to updates in the right corner
  3. wait a few secs before you see the update coming.
  4. then click on update
