I've used a couponcode a few weeks ago to prolongue my spotify premium account, but I still can't use Spotify on my Iphone. Keep getting the message that I'm not Premium and should upgrade.
Tried uninstalling, installing again a few times but no success. What to do??? Did I lost the time I had without Spotify Premium?
Solved! Go to Solution.
If you have an iPhone, go to your homescreen, double-click so that you see all the apps that are open, hold your finger on one of them until the little "minus" appears on the top left corner of each open app, close the Spotify app (and probably any FB apps associated with your account), reopen your spotify app and it should work. That did it for me.
I'm hoping there's a fix coming since I have the same issue, upgraded to Premium and my playlists show that they are playing but nothing is coming through. I have uninstalled the app from my Android and reinstalled multiple times. I can play other music over my phone but I hear silence from Spotify.
****FIX FOUND on another thread **** It was as simple as rebooting the phone. I would have never thought that would help, but it took care of it.

You might be posting in the wrong board. This is the iOS board - Are you only getting this problem on Android?
Agree, sometimes get the message that spotify has been paused because your account is used somewhere else. But this is not true. I´ve checked everything, cnanged my password etc. This is ongoing for the last weeks and I am still paying. At the same time Spotify status tells me everything is ok. Really frustrating!
Hi David, Oops, sorry. I found the solution. It was as simple as rebooting the phone. Yeah! I am now getting Spotify perfectly.

Hi rikki - Just to be safe, I've just logged everyone off your account. I'd update your password one more time right here: www.spotify.com/password-reset/
I have just down loaded premuim, it hasn't recognised this on my iPad. Please suggest what to do

Just signed up for Premium and unable to stream on my iPhone. Tried deleting and re-installing the app but that didnt work.
Help!
I cannot get spotify to work properly on my iphone either. First it would stop after 1 minute. I have tried re installing the app twice now and it still WILL NOT work properly. It has lost all my playlists and I can't upload my playsts for offline listening.
This has been going on for more than a week.
I am going to try to re install the app to both the desktop and the phone next and see if that doesn't clear up the issue.
If there isn't a fix soon, I am going to just cancel my premium subscription. I see no reason to pay for this if it won't work on my iphone.
Hey guys, can you please try the usual steps of logging out and in, and then reinstalling the app if your upgrade still isn't showing?
Let us know how you get on!
I upgraded today and still am not able to reap the rewards. Any advice?

I've had spotify on my iPad for a year now, with a premium account. Today, as we logged in, my app is telling me that I'm not a premium member. I'm up to date with my payment and this is the first time this has happened to me during my time as a premium member (which began in July 2007). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Never mind, this post solved my problems:
I upgraded to Spotify Premium this morning and the payment went through, i set up a device username and password but when I try to search and play music it says I am not a Premium user. I've tried logging in and out
Hi samanthaha - Have you tried the steps outlined in the post THExWilliam posted to above?
I just paid for Premium using my Galaxy Note and logged in using facebook but I can't play an album I searched. It says "Sorry, can't play this track. Only Premium users can stream on demand on mobile."
How do I fix this?

I'm having a problem with my premium. I just bought it today and it's not letting me listen to my music. It's saying that only premium members can listen to music and that I can only listen to the radio. I'm really confused because I have the receipt for my premium membership in my email. What do I do?
