Spotify Sync Problems Between iPad and MacBook Pro

Newbie to Spotify, and I need some help . . . 

 

I am banging my head against the wall and cannot figure this out . . . 

 

I have an iPad AIr, an iPhone 5, and a MacBook Pro running OS X Yoesmite 10.10.1

 

I have been adding albums on my iPad which show up under "Your Music."

 

All of the albums that I have added on my iPad show up automatically on my iPhone 5 under "Your Music."

 

However, none of the songs are showing on the Spotify app on my MAcBook Pro.

 

Anyone understand what I might be doing wrong?

 

I greatly appreciate any help.

I should mention that my problems only exist when I use the downloaded desktop application for the Mac.  

 

Whn I run Spotify off of the web based player, everything is fine, si I think it may be an issue with the desktop application itself. 

 

I would apprecaite if anyone can confirm this.  Thanks.

 

Having the same issue except I'm having trouble with my iPhone and my Windows Desktop.

 

When I add songs to 'My Music' on my desktop it syncs across just fine but when I add songs on my iPhone it still doesn't appear on my Windows!

 

Really frustrating as I have to methodically go onto my desktop adding many many songs again that I have already added on my iPhone.

I'm suffering from something similar, only it's that files that I've added to spotify with my Macbook Pro show up on my iPhoneSE, but not on my ipad pro.
