Spotify forwarding automatically with Ford Sync 1

My Question or Issue

Recently got a new car (Ford Focus) with Sync 1.0, only possability to connect a iPhone is through USB. When connected it plays songs that are saved on the iPhone from Apple Music, when trying to play music from Spotify it keeps forwarding through the songs, for example: i connect my device, it says its connected, i open a Spotify playlist, click the 4th song or the Shuffle button, it starts playing the song for less then 1 second, then it goes to the next song, plays for less then a second, forwards to the next song, and it keeps going on and on.

I know this sounds obvious, but would you mind restarting your device and performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps outlined here? This can solve many common problems that our users experience.

If that doesn't help, could you try logging into another account on Spotify and trying again? This will help us to establish whether there might be a problem with your account.
