Spotify hangs itself up after adding a number of tracks to playlists.

My Question or Issue

Hello everyone.

The last weeks/months I‘m dealing with a little issue. 

Spotify hangs itself up after adding a few tracks within 1-2 minutes into playlists. 

When this happens Spotify doesn’t respond if I press „Add to playlist“, „Add to queue“ or „Close“ in the menu. 

I have to close the app, wait a few seconds and then I can open it and continue listening. 

But then again, after sometime, the issue reoccurs and I have to so same procedure again. 

Is anyone dealing with the same problem or does anyone know what the problem is and what I can do?

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community. I was wondering if you’ve tried re-installing the Spotify app on your mobile device?

Most common issues can be fixed with a quick reinstall of the app. In some situations, however, a clean (more thorough) reinstall of the app might be needed.

If you’ve tried re-installing the Spotify app and you’re still having this issue, I would recommend trying a clean reinstall.
