Spotify jam doesn’t work

My Question or Issue

We invite eachother with sms/ iMessage, snap, airdrop, Facebook messenger but nothing works.

 

we click the link and we get into the Spotify app and nothing happens.

have tried hosting a jam both of us and invite eachother and this has been going on the last month.

 

both have the newest Spotify version.

help!!

Hey there @Swoppie! Thanks for posting here, and welcome to the Spotify Community!

Are you doing it remotely or are you together? Do you see any error messages when creating the Jam? Are there just two users with this issue or has any additional user tried it out with the same results? Have any of you tried using a different internet connection? You could try it with WiFi instead of mobile data or vice-versa.

Additionally, you can try clearing the cache and/or reinstalling the app on your devices to see if it helps.

Please let me know how this goes.

Hello!!

 

thanks for the warm welcome. I just tried with a different WiFi and it worked. We try next to eachother and there was no error message.

 

but since it works with our home WiFi and not the gym WiFi. Is there any reason for it?

or maybe a known problem that is now solved?

Glad to know that it's working fine now! 

Did you try it again using the gym's WiFi connection? Is it working fine now, or are you still experiencing issues?
