Spotify loses WiFi connection

Spotify loses WiFi connection

Hi!

I am a Premium user since 2010, and an issue is taking place in the last weeks with my account while using my Iphone and Ipad as source:

After a few hours of listening Spotify loses its connection and a warning message is shown:

 

"Your connection time to Spotify has expired. Please try another WiFi network or a mobile Network." 

 

Would anybody explain this? Is it a Spotify issue or is it my WiFi provider's responsablity?

I'm not intending to keep paying for a limited time connection.

Hi Daniel

 

One thing you could try is whether your wireless router is hopping between channels as this could possibly be a reason. That is if you experience the issue always at home or on same wifi network. If not then its not related.

To check this eitheir get onto your ISP or check yourself - browse to (prob) 192.168.1.1 and look around for radio settings in your wireless setup. The options should be 1 through to 13 and Auto. If its set to Auto change to a different channel, try 1 and see how you go.
