Spotify over everything

I like to listen to spotify and multitask on phone. Sometimes the apps dont interrupt spotify but once the app has an ad it stops spotify. I can jump back and hit play again but about half the time the ad stops the music again. Is there a way i can listen to spotify uninterrupted? Like only I can stop it.

Hi @Vivodechile and welcome to the Spotify community! 

Unfortunately, there’s no setting that I know of to prevent this. I believe it has to do more with iOS itself rather than Spotify. I get this often myself when I’m browsing websites that might auto load a video with sound etc... 

If I’m directly in an app that has sound, such as a game, I typically disable the game audio and then Spotify will continue to play over it. 

I’m guessing it has something to do with prioritizing what function is in the forefront as currently active.
