Spotify premium not working

Same old story that's been going on for years with Spotify, according to google. Paid for Spotify premium with my credit card, and my account still says Free 24 hours later. None of the troubleshooting worked; none of the people I emailed were helpful, as they suggested using another card to pay again which I refuse to do. How do I solve this?
