Spotify songs not playing

After my premium expired, I noticed some of my songs weren't playing. They'd be skipped over and not played. I noticed this was only with songs I downloaded while I had premium and didn't affect songs I've never played or never downloaded. This is a very annoying issue and logging out and logging back in did not fix the issue. I've looked up answers but found no help. This also does not affect my Spotify on PC. Only on iOS.

Hello there @liamreilley19!

You might just be experiencing a bug.

 

Maybe a clean reinstall helps to fix the issue.

 

Tryt following these steps:

 

  1. On the home screen, tap and hold the Spotify icon until it shakes.
  2. Tap the X symbol on the icon.
  3. Hold the Home and Power buttons down together until the Apple logo appears.
  4. Open the App Store then search for and install the Spotify app.
