Spotify version 8.3.0.896 layout on iPad mini

Before actualization to this version there always had been two columns for artists/albums/songs etc. in Browse, Search and Your Music.

Suddenly one column dissappeared and app became much less synoptic, clear. Orientation isn't as pleasant as before. Most of the screen is just black - useless waste of space.

Is it just some bug or is it new app design direction?

I really hope that this is just a bug. Otherwise it's a big step backward for iPad Users. So much wasted space on a big screen and even more bad user experience. 

Please bring back the old design from version <=8.2

Unfortunately this is a new feature in IOS app 8.3.0. I really don't like it either.

Everyone seems to be complaining they don't like the new UI, but I love it!  Finally I can use all the screen space on my iPad and not have the stupid sliding bars all over the place covering content and restricting how much can be shown on the screen. There is definitely room for implement, but this is a great start!

Why dont you just use an iphone then?

I bought an ipad to have more functionallity. Else i would have used an iphone instead.

Chiming to say I'm also not a fan of the new layout. It's more clumsy to navigate. I was hoping it was a setting I accidentally changed. Bummer!

Fully agree. Have been using new iPad layout several weeks and still can't stand it. Might be time to go freemiun.

When I add numerous albums by the same artist, it doesn't break/split them up so is just one long list of hunderds of songs. Anyway to change this?
