Stuck on advertisement

Stuck on advertisement

My Spotify account has been stuck on an advertisement for a day. I’m still able to navigate the app on my iPhone and I can click pause or play but no sound comes out, no advertisement no music. The clock is still running as if something was playing. I turned my phone on and off, exited the app and reloaded it and turned my wifi connection on and off to no avail. Only other option I’m seeing is to delete the app and re-download but I’ll loose all my data.

Thanks for reaching out to us about this - we'll be glad to help you out here.

 

Most common issues can be fixed with a quick reinstall of the app. In some situations however, a clean (more thorough) reinstall of the app might be needed. This way, you can start afresh with Spotify on your device. 

 

Check out this help page in order to find the steps for clean reinstall on the affected device.
