Sync Album Collection between Devices not Working

I have found that Album Collections do not sync between devices unless you restart the app.  This has been going on for years.  I did not mention it because I figured that someone would notice and correct this error.

 

In order to see the error for yourself, open the app on a device (eg iPhone).  Then open the app on another device (eg iPad).  Add an album to the collection on the iPad.  Now go to the iPhone and wait forever and see that the Album collection does not change.  Close the iPhone app, and restart it, then the collection will sync. 

 

Please correct this.  It should not be difficult.  Even a simple "restart app" button would be better than nothing.
