Sync between Mac and iPhone

Why does not Spotify sync like Apple Music? Whenever I change something on the Mac, I have to shoot the app on the iPhone and restart it so that the synchronization takes effect. This is really annoying, especially if you use Spotify on two different devices. Do you have a solution for this except short-term to activate the offline mode? And is that the same with you?
