Sync local files between Desktop and iOS

Sync local files between Desktop and iOS

When I try to sync my files between Spotify for Mac and iOS I only see the playlists itself on mij iPhone and no songs.

What I do on Mac: choose the source where my local files are stored. Dragging them in a playlist. Waiting a minute and open Spotify on my iPhone.

I can see the playlist, but I don't see any songs. I'm on the same wi-fi. Since Spotify don't have some artists I listen to I thought this is a solution. Tried it several times, without firewall, reinstalled apps.

Any ideas? This is freaking me out, Spotify Support said it should work:

Hey @user-removed

Welcome to the Spotify Community.

Can you check the info over here? On the other hand, could you check if your files are supported? They have to be .mp3, .mp4, and .m4p files. Also, some of your tracks may be protected in restricted formats. You can simply download QuickTime to allow most of these tracks to be played on Spotify.

We're looking forward to your reply.
