The forward and next track button on the app isn't working with the locked iOS7 screen.

I just updated to the new iOS7 on my iPhone. I also just got the newest update to Spotify. Previously, when the screen locks after a minute, I would press the circle button on the iPhone twice and the music controls would appear with pause/play, previous and next. These buttons all used to work. Now they do not. I see them but they do not work.

I deleted the app are redownloaded from the app store. This still doesn't work. Help!

Dude, I'm having the same exact problem. Started happening about two days ago. It's very frustrating because I can't even control the music from my pioneer radio in my car (which i was able to do before this issue arised.)

I hope it gets fixed immidiately.

Anybody got some info on this? Im sure its a bug, but spotify, get with it!!!!

Strange, these work fine for me.

Just incase its a temporary application issue, can you try soft rebooting your phone by holding down the home and lock buttons together until the apple logo appears on the screen and see if that makes any difference?

I just did a reboot like you mentioned and somehow that worked! I think I tried everything including reinstalling the app.
