Since last week, the touch preview stopped working on albums, playlists and tracks. Isn't working on both iPad and iPhone with iOS 9.2.1 and Spotity: 4.9.0.833.
It only works on my saved playlists, songs, albums and artists, but no on explore, so discover new music it's impossible unless I play an album or playlist.
I have this problem too, but only for certain songs. When I hold down, the text on the list will visually dim like usual and preview some songs, however, some song titles will not visually dim and if I hold them, they don't play.
Beyond a stupid decision on their part. That single feature is THE ONLY THING which has convinced friends of mine to even try Spotify... and potentially give up their other beloved music service.
Good news!
It's not Touch Preview, but it's very similar.
In the mobile app, you can now go into a playlist, album, or artist and you will see a little icon next to the play button. Once you tap on it, you can swipe through a feed that plays you quick previews of each song. Give it a try!
It is also rolling out now in the desktop app, so you should be seeing it there soon as well.
