Turning ”Genious” OFF?

Hello!

I have been using spotify since the beginning and I have loved it so far, but the genious ”feature” is really starting to annoy me. Why is it mandatory to keep it ON? If I just wanna see the lyrics this feature will force me to educate myself about rubbish I have 0 interest in. You can’t even skip those notes. If this is somekind of way making money, atleast tell it to your customers. I read atleast 15 samekind of posts and only answers has been that ”you cant do anything about it, we are sorry”. Well maybe its time to change services.
