Unable to sync after update to iOS 71.

Hey guys.

 

As a long time premium user and daily user I need some help...

 

After updating IOS the playlists and songs won't sync at all.

 

iPhone 5S with iOs 7.1(11D167)

16gb with 5.5gb free

Spotify app Version 0.9.4.25

~160 Playlists of various sizes

 

Tried so far.

Basically I've tried everything I've found in the forum and the suggestions from staff.

- Log in/out

- Reinstall app.

- Restart iPhone.

- Hard reboot (home+lockbutton)

- Resetting account password

- Updating subscription

- Change of wifi

- Sync over 2g/3g/4g

- Change of quality (usually use high)

- Removed and readded to list of 3 devices for sync

- Created new playlist to try updating cache(?)

 

This has been done several times in different orders but without luck.

Streaming and browsing works fine.

Computer and iPad on the same network syncs without problem.

Sometimes it seems like it tries to start the sync, showing "Syncing 1 out of 1000" etc but with the "1000" decreasing in numbers and then the "syncbar" dissapears.

At the moment 0 songs are synced.

 

Only thing I didn't try yet is to reset the phone to an older backup and reinstall/reupdate the iOS.

 

Edit: Local files syncs fine with cable connected to the computer.

 

Any ideas?

Does removing that device as an offline device from your own settings then trying to sync make any difference?

Nope I tried that but without success.

- Removed and readded to list of 3 devices for sync

 

It does however say Operating System iPhone6,2 which is not correct, not sure if it's a compatibility issue?

Nah that is right, the identifier for the 5S is iPhone5,2.

Oh I thought it was refering to the iOS.

Like I said local files will sync immediately but stops when it comes to the other songs.

Was in contact with support.

Another account would sync perfectly on the phone so it was an account issue of some sort.

Either way something was done cause now it works!
