Using Spotify on Bluetooth car radio - Iphone

Hi,

I bought a new JVC bluetooth radio for my car and spotify was working perfectly with it. There is also a USB port and since I plugged my phone into it to charge the way spotify has been working has changed, even after I have plugged it out. 

Now when I open spotify on bluetooth mode, the songs can play but I cannot navigate on the spotify app to change songs. The display screen on my phone is locked with a blank screen with the spotify logo in the middle. My radio will allow me go 'next tract/previous tract' but otherwise I cannot changes songs or jump to different albums.

Any suggestions?

I'm having the exact same issue. Spotify can you please sort this out?
