Using spotify repeatedly on two devices?

Using spotify repeatedly on two devices?

To my understanding, the Premium subscription allows for multiple devices to be used with the account. I.e computer, iphone, ipad etc. But when im listening to music on my iphone in my room, and my brother borrows my ipad and tries to listen to music ,it stops the music. Is there a way to register devices, so that it would allow multiple devices i own to play music, as advertised? thanks in advance! ๐Ÿ™‚

You are only allowed 1 active streaming device per account at any given time (as Spotify is for personal usage only), but you are free to synchronise playlists for offline usage on 3 devices. If you download playlists for offline usage and then force your client into offline mode, then you can continue to stream on another device whilst listening to one that is offline.
