Welcome to the test of a new and greatly improved home screen created by the very best designers... Why are you frustrated? It is just a great use of space, nobody needs recommendations and wants to discover music anyways. Play the first list, radio was better than custom streaming. /s

After 10 days without any real response I doubt they care about music listening. They are not making money this way. Be a good customer and listen to Spotify Podcasts! You don't want to discover music anyways.

Search shortcuts and like button changes get a post here but not this mess of a home screen? This should tell you all you need to know. I'm taking my money elsewhere.

Agree - love when I have to login to some community forum page where everyone has come to complain about the same thing. I'm all for layout changes but this one has so much wasted space, everything used to be at my fingertips and now I get 2 **bleep** recommendations and a ton of unreasonable scrolling to find things. c'mon devs bring us back, this new layout is trash.

Funny because if you look back you can find people complaining about them trying this exact same layout 2 years ago, and here we are again. This is terrible - such a waste of space, bad UI planning, at least let people opt out and tell them to give feedback rather than force your users to go online to complain.

My Question or Issue

The new home page for phones is repugnant, it doesn't show you previously played anymore, hids podcasts, and is just a mess of albums thrown on the front. Can I fix this, or an I gonna have to get an I-Phone for apple music?

This is a "temporary" test where they are trying to find out how far they can push us. You don't need an Iphone tho, tidal, deezer work just as well as this. And they still recommend music.

The new start screen for the app is really confusing and not clear at all.

Why Are the symbols so big? And why can'T you swipe to the right? It is really a total waste of the screen size.

Please change it back to the old one. It was way better. Thanks.

You really need a screen shot for this trash?? 😕 I would think they know beforehand. HAD TO KNOW THIS WAS GONNA **bleep** OFF ALL YOUR SUBSCRIBERS! There's NO WAY NOBODY THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE A SUCCESS! 🤣🤣🤣 This has to be addressed immediately

I hate Podcasts and now my homescreen is full of it.
I have to search now for "Your weekly mix".

the recently played section of homepage on the app has disappeared, this is infuriating as it is 80% of how I use the app. Bring back this feature ASAP!! Spotify is useless to me if I can’t keep track of what playlists and albums I have been listening to and return to them through the day/week.

I second all of these comments. Spotify is next to useless for me now. Seriously considering cancelling my Premium Family Subscription. Who can we talk to about reverting?

I am also having this problem and it’s making want to use Apple Music instead of Spotify. You can’t find anything on the new Home Screen and I’m pretty sure it’s for some sort of test for podcast listeners. Maybe update it for people who actually listen to podcasts more than music🙄😭

You should have made it an option if we wanted to test it and also had an option to turn it off. Very disappointed with the customer aspect of what you’re trying to do. After reading hundreds of comments (all negative) you’d think the Spotify team would get the picture and change it back. Also looks like they tried this years ago and that also failed.
