Why did Spotify Now change? And can I revert it?

Hi,

last week (or was it the week before?) Spotify Now changed on my iPhone (running IOS 9.2 with Spotify 4.6.0.1466). Before that I had a drop-down menu to choose the time of day (morning, evening, late night, and so on). Now there is just a list of "recently played" stuff along with "popular playlists", "just for you", and other stuff which is pretty similar to the "discover" area.

So, does anyone know why that changed and if there is a way to go back to the previous state?

Spotify is always tweaking their service and testing new things to ensure the best possible experience for their users.

It could just be they are testing out a new layout for it.
