cannot make playlists available offline

Solved!

cannot make playlists available offline

the last several days cannot sync to my ipod touch. iOS 7.1. 13 gigs space available. tried all solutions i could find here. When I choose a playlist and slide the button to ''available offline" I get an orange exclamation point next to each song. I have logged out and in. Shut down ipod and restarted. Rebooted. What gives? This is why I pay for premium and it is not working. Thanks for help.

Have you already synced 3,333 tracks which is the maximum allowed per device?

hi peter. no have not reached that limit. well deleted the app and reinstalled and now its working but of course now i have resync ALL my songs and lists now. this is the 3rd time for this. Spotify really need to redesign their app and organization. Or at least make it all free not worth the 10 bux a month. Thank you.

well i take that back it IS worth 10 bux a month but the headaches always persist. I just wish the app was better and more graphic and that organization was better, sort by artists and genres at least. like the google play app is so nice looking. Spotify are so cool don't see why they have such a lame app and desk top version.

Spotify are redesigning the applications, the redesigned desktop client should be making it's way out to the public sometime in the coming weeks I would expect (it is currently rolled out to a very small number of users for testing).

well that is good to hear. I joined the collections beta testers but never heard anything back or received it. I am very excited to see what they have done to the desktop and ios app. I hope they are both great. I have so much music and so many playlists and folders just don't cut it and the app is so hard to see what is going on. I just hope i can sort by genre as i listen to so many genres of music and all my folders are by genre. The problem will all the streaming music programs is they don't seem to cater to large music collections, just the social aspect and casual listeners. Maybe I'm wrong I don't know, how it feels to me. Thanks Peter for your insigts and help. 🙂

Is this Limit true? Why? very bad!

@X5_492_Neo - Yup unfortunately, the 3,333 offline tracks per device is a limit governed by Spotify's licensing agreements with the content providers.
