cant play or delete songs from search within a playlist

when using the search bar at the top of a playlist, touching the three dots to the side of a song does nothing and the usual menu doesn’t appear. i am also unable to swipe right to add the song to my queue. this worked just a few days ago and always has! i’ve updated spotify and tried on multiple different playlists, but nothing has worked. help is much appreciated. thanks.
