8.6.72.1009 (I have tried to send feedbacks through TestFlight but I'm not sure it's sent successfully. And the both issues below happens in the latest public version of Spotify iOS)

My Question or Issue 

1. UI DISPLAY ISSUE

Sometimes the album page, the now playing page and My Library page will go too close to the top of the screen and get partly covered by the front camera. Besides, the top bar of the phone (time and battery) disappears in Homepage and Search page when the above issue happens.

2. TEXT DISPLAY ISSUE

The CHINESE CHARACTERS are not displaying completely in:

• the song title in now playing page and
• the album title in the album page

You need to fix the font size.

I've put the complete characters beside the title so you can see the flaw.

Thank you for getting back to us in this thread and for your feedback.

Can you confirm that you followed the steps that's provided in this article? There's some more steps to help thoroughly uninstall the app from your device, so if you haven't, we'd highly suggest it since the steps will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

We also suggest that you always have the latest operative system on your device and as mentioned above - always keep your app up to date.

If I‘m scrolling down a playlist or an artist‘s profile on the iPhone 12, the name is hidden due to the bulge at the top of the display containing the sensors and speaker. It would be great if it could be moved a bit downwards - Thank you!

I'm having the same problem, and It's very annoying.

It sounds like a minor thing, but I'm really getting to the point where I consider switching to a different music service. I've already tried logging out many times, reinstalling the app, turning off the device, and absolutely nothing fixes this.

(I'm using an iPhone 11 Pro, running iOS 15.0.2, just for the record.)

I have been experiencing this issue for well over a month. Im on version 8.6.78.419, iPhone 11. Super annoying UI issue. I have to reopen the app every time.

Hi there,

Same reports here for the issue 1 described.

iPhone on iOS 15.1 and Spotify updated to 8.6.78 - still experienced.

The issue does not occur immediately on app launch but usually when it has been idle in the background - as described by circle4x the UI is shifted too high and hidden behind the notch +the clock/battery & network icons disappear.

Force quitting the app & relaunch temporarily 'fixes the issue' but when the app remains open in the background for a while, it just comes back.

Clean reinstall does not fix.

Super annoying UI issue. I have to reopen the app every time. But my friend's phone's display is normal.

Please fix the UI display problem as soon as possible, it is really annoying!!
