[iOS] Genius - Behind the Lyrics

Hey guys,

I cannot stand the Behind the Lyrics feature within the iOS app, it obstructs dismissing the currently playing track by swiping down.

I was wondering if anyone could advise, I was thinking of blocking the relevant genius web addresses/ip addresses in my local network via dns for example. Would this stop it from appearing, or would I just receive an error while still having the box behind my artwork?

Please do not suggest: Settings>Playback>Behind the Lyrics. That only stops it from automatically showing, which isn't what I'm asking... Sorry to people who know this, I've just heard it too many times.
