iOS Spotify Won't Scrobble

So last.fm's new policy for passwords is that it has to contain a special character. When I tried to input mine in the Settings, say, it was 13 digits with the special character, and then I go back to my music and back to the Settings, my password turns to 12 digits (indicating the special character is lost). Now I can't scrobble from my phone. Help?
