Spotify on iPhone has a lifesaving (somewhat) option in it’s settings called “Volume level: Quiet” (Settings>Playback>Volume level>Loud/Normal/Quiet)
It changes the in App volume only of Spotify.
This function is super useful, as music tends to be very loud by default, and overpowers everything else on my iPad. I listen to lofi/calming music in the background, but even then it still means “either Spotify or anything else” without this feature.
Here is an example video that shows me studying japanese on iPad. Sadly i can barely hear the voiced audio-files from the flashcard-app, because of Spotify. But with the “Volume level: Quiet” feature, it would be much better.
language study on iPad with Spotify
My request/question:
Could you PLEASE copy+paste the feature from iOS into iPadOS? It should be rather easy, right?
