iPad App Keeps Losing Connection

For the past few weeks, I've been experiencing the same issue where the app's connection to the internet keeps cutting out, making searches either take forever or not work at all, navigation almost impossible, and tracks fail to buffer.

 

At other times, it just suddenly becomes plain slow without apparently dropping out of the connection.

 

i think it's important to note that, oddly enough, if I leave the app and then come back to it while it's in one of these loading loops the material will have loaded if I return to Spotify again. It's the strangest thing.


I have uninstalled and reinstalled it and I can't figure out what would have caused this problem since nothing has changed about my internet connection on my end.

 

Is there something wrong with the most recent updates perhaps?
