Nice I have just updated my iPad App to Spotify 1.3.0! I am speechless, such a great Update and so many improvements.. I do not know where to Start telling you how great the iPad App had changed.

.... Just kidding, nothing new for us. They did not Even fix the Rotation bug.

Since Spotify seems to be ignoring this thread and every thread related to this problem, I've started giving 1 star and writing exactly why in the Apple App Store reviews, and I ask all of you to do the same. Maybe they will start noticing then.

Once again, a completely useless pointless update of the ipad app. WHERE IS YOUR MUSIC FOR IPAD? I've been asking for it for months as have many others. And spotify refuses to give a schedule for making th ipad app work like the iPhone and android apps!

Guess the only way to REALLY tell them what we think is to unsubscribe. In my case that means me and my daughter, a double whammy. Not quite ready to do that yet but VERY close. Google play beginning to look interesting now I have an android phone.

I know!  Dump BOTH apple and Spotify for comapanies that stil know how to give the end user what we want not what the big boys think we want? Im certaily drifting thataway......

Still no news on the starred items, latest Ipad update is an insult. As an ipad user im tired of being a second class citizen!

Again yet another update for the Spotify App (1.4.0) and yet again still no improvements for iPad. All new features of this version are iPhone only. How can this be!?!?!?! I really don't get it. 😞

So I just gave a one star rating in the App Store to tell how bad this is. I also contacted Spotify via Twitter (@SpotifyCares) to complain about it. But I only got the answer that they will tell development.

So please follow me, give the App a bad rating on the App Store and contact them via Twitter. We have to make them aware that this is not acceptable. 

I am a paying Spotify Premium customer, but I am treated as a second class customer because I have an iPad? Seriously!?!?

Title: Beware if you're a big iPad user

I have given the iOS version of the Spotify app 1 star because the iPad version has not seen a real update in over 11 months -- not since before the Discover feature was announced in August, 2013.

Customers have been told repeatedly that there is a new iPad version "coming soon" but one can only suppose they have a pretty unique definition of "coming soon".

The latest update (v1.4.0 for the iPhone) included this tidbit:
"Fictitious: this app obsessed with penguins" -- in reality, it's more like "Fictitious: we care about our iPad customers".

If it weren't for the social aspect of the SERVICE, I would have moved over to Beats Music streaming months ago (they have great curated lists, by the way, and their "sentence" feature is way more fun than the typical "radio" feature of all other streaming apps).

Still some days remain Until my subscribtion expires, but then Bye Bye Spotify. I have wasted enough Money on Spotify and hoped everytime that they will fix Things for the iPad in the next Version, but they Never did and Never will. I dont Pay to be a 2nd class user....

A good company should be able to give Alls Users on all platforms the Same experience. Every little startup company has a better Support than Spotify...
I will change to Rdio and I recommend every one to spend Your Money on other Streaming Services. Nearly every service has the Same Features, but some have a good Support too. Spotify isnt such a company.

At the end some Comedy: Rotation bug will be fixed in 1.5.0, .... Maybe... dont complain when not. (Source official Patchnotes on the Forum)

The mobile software is by far my biggest gripe with Spotify. Sloppy, slow and buggy... The redesigned iPhone app was utter **bleep** when it first came out. How that passed testing is beyond me...

Refitting the app for the iPad is not a huge undergoing. And with spotify shifting towards "Your Music" library function, its now starting to become necessary.

Either keep up or pull the ipad app so we can run the iPhone app. If you|re that useless at it...

One of the things Spotify when they revamped their apps earlier this year was they wanted a uniform experience across devices.  Either they don't know what a uniform experience is or they just plain lied.  For what we have with the ipad app is a completely different experience from the other apps.

Frustrating... Seems we've missed redesign for iOS7 while iOS8 is already announced. Spotify is disappointing me.

haha just switch over to Beats music since Spotify doesn't care about its subscribers anymore. Also since apple has acquired beats the transition and integration will probably be very good once apple decides to do something with the company! Love what Spotify stand for and the features that they have, but it doesn't seem like to listen to feedback or complaints or just its user base in any way...fundamentals of a great company. Also its business model may not let Spotify survive in the music industry

can't understand it. listening to songs found on the road on my mobile and saved to "your music" (or however it is called) is not possible on my ipad. and not having the extended exploring features on my ipad (i.e. when i'm on the couch) is not very comfortable.

i would at least expect a timeline for the next "update"...

I'm back! Seems I can't quite live without the Spotify desktop client, which makes it all the more frustrating that the Ipad app STILL lags behind. Why? Please Spotify give us a reason why! Im begging you for a logical sane reason WHY?

Its interesting watching companies grow. A couple of years ago Spotfy used to bend over backwards to keep its relatively small user base happry. If they coiuldnt provide what was requested they at lease communicated why.

Now its like shouting at the moon.

Ah well, welcome to the corporate world of music streaming where everything is dumbed down for the common majority. Expect to see fringe music drop off next, Classical and Jazz are already being left behind. Will we see larger bands an lables music being "suggested" more soon? I expect so.
