iPhone 5 not showing up in devices on Spotify for Windows

Hello everyone,

 

I am a recent Spotify premium member, and I would like to sync my iPhone with Spotify so I can save playlists to my phone. It is not showing up under devices on the desktop version. I have deleted and redownloaded both for the iPhone and Windows, still not working. If this issue is not resolved, will sadly be cancelling my subscription.

Here are the steps to syncing your iPhone with Spotify:

  1. Log in to Spotify on your computer
  2. Connect your phone to the same wifi network as your computer (make sure that your computer is connected to the wifi network wirelessly)
  3. Log in to the Spotify app on your phone (make sure to keep the screen on)
  4. Your phone should now appear under “Devices” in your Spotify desktop client.
  5. Select your device in the Devices list
  6. Choose the playlists you would like to sync for offline use on your phone. When syncing your phone with Spotify no content will be removed.

still not working, tried these steps multiple times. as a premium member, we should have a little better customer support
