My Question or Issue

When I am listening to podcasts I have to press play on them twice as it immediately pauses after the first press. It does this with earbuds, AirPods, and on speaker and it seems to be specific to podcasts.

Thank you for posting in the Community! 

This sounds like unexpected behavior of the app regarding podcasts to be honest. Does this happen only when you're using the app with Bluetooth connection? Does it act as expected when you're trying to start the show from your device directly? Also does it seem to happen for every podcast, or just at specific ones? If the later, please share with us links to the said episodes, so we can take a closer look. 

It could be worthwhile also restarting the app twice in a row. This may sound odd but it's how the app does a refresh between your account and our servers. See if this can shake things up for the app.
