iPhone app does not exit from memory when closed

Spotify Premium, app version 6.8.0.3786

Iphone 6 running iOS 10.1.1

Steps to repeat problem:

1. Open Spotify and play a song.

2. Double-tap home button, and "swipe up" to close Spotify app.

3. Lock phone. 

4. Wake phone, and on the lock screen you will see that Spotify is still "open."

When the app is closed, it should "release" from the memory. Otherwise, the app will continue to operate incorrectly -- for example, it will begin to replay over a Bluetooth connection and there's no way to stop it other than going to the lock screen (because the app is closed).

Hey! What do you mean that on the lockscreen the app is still open? Are music controls displayed? That's good, it doesn't mean the app is open.
