iPhone question

I have Spotify on my new iPhone. I find the shuffle function pretty weak,e.g., I have one playlist with over 2000 tracks, and on shuffle it seems to play the same 25 over and over.

On my MacBook, I have and use the option of sorting the playlist track alphabetically, which creates a very nice shuffle.

My question is whether there is any way to sort playlists on mobile devices like iPhone or iPad in the same way.

You can sort playlists on iPad (scroll to the top of the playlist), it isn't yet possible on iOS but it has been promised to be added in the near future.
