iPod classic sync

iPod classic sync

hi, i'm new to spotify,  and i normally buy/download all my music from itunes on my iMac then sync tham all to my iphone/ipad/ipod classic.  since i've been hearing rumours that apple is going to evenually discontinue iTunes for music, i thought i better get signed up for 1 of these streaming services.  i've dabbled using Apple music on and of since it started.  but since i use my ipod classic on a regular basis and know i can't use Apple Music with my iPod Classic,  if get the premium,  and download all my music through the spotify iMac app,  can i sync all music/playlists etc to my ipod classic?

thanks in advance

In order to listen to Spotify's music you need to use the app, which can't be installed to the iPod classics to my understanding.

Yeah you would need to get an iPod touch to use the app. And if you get premium subscription you can download your playlists to the app so that when you don't have internet connection you can still play the music in the app.
