Hi. I recently updated my spotify app in order to take advantage of the new update, specifically the running feature. However, I am not seeing the new updates. I even deleted and reinstalled the app. I am in the US, and I believe this feature was rolled out yesterday? Shouldn't I be able to view this by now?

Did everything everyone said to do. Saw the popup. Still don't have it

I don't know if it is different with an iPod touch but I am running the new iOS so assumed it would work fine. I have yet to see the running section come up.

Does anyone know if this is even available for iPod users or not? Please let me know. I have tried everything the other posters have mentioned.

Hello I have tried everything as well with my iPhone 5 and still don't have it. Every post I see from a spotify representive said that is was " coming soon" but don't provide a date so I know when to download that app again.

I've always been a Pandora user, but lately the ads have become insane, so the announcement of the running feature got me to finally download Spotify.  After reading about it on countless blogs I was really excited to try it, so I went to the track, opened the app and....nothing.  It's not available.  That couldn't make sense, though, everyone has it.  Every blog says so.  So I uninstalled and reinstalled like many of you have and nothing happened.  Then I found this forum saying that the feature is being arbitrarily rolled out to customers.  Some of you said you force quit and restarted and it worked, so I tried that to no avail.  I tried complaining to see if that would make me more important, but that didn't work.  I tried complaining with my collar popped and a blazer on hoping I would seem more important, but that didn't help either.  Now I took a minute to register for this forum and write this post just to let someone, anyone at Spotify know that it legitimately takes years to win a customer but only seconds to lose them.  I'll find what I need elsewhere.

Is anyone else still not receiving the Running feature?

What kimd of phone do you have? I have an iPhone 6 Plus and still don't have the running feature. Getting frustrated with Spotify now...

I have an iPhone 5c and I am unable to see the running option. My fiancé has a 5 and he has the app and my roommate has a 6 and he has the running app as well...

Also an iPhone 6 Plus, which I should have mentioned because with my collar
popped, my blazer on and an iPhone in my hand it makes me infinitely more
important.

As per my last post, please post the iOS version and Spotify version you're on. Also please try signing out and signing in again.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8.3, spotify 3.3.0.1640. I have uninstalled, hard reset, reinstalled, signed out, signed back in, stood on my head while sacrificing a chicken, and still no running option..,

I also have an iPhone 6 with iOS 8.3 and the same version of Spotify. No running option on it either. Not sure if it's important, but they're both on the AT&T compatible straight talk network.

Mine is iPhone 5S, version 8.3 (12F70), Spotify 3.3.0.1640 AT&T wireless network. No Running feature.

So is there a fix yet for the running thing? The first response was "hopefully" the next couple of weeks... been over a month since then. I also think its wrong that I had a premium account that was $9.99, which got cancelled for reasons unknown. Now I got a new premium account for $12.99... and still being charged the original $9.99. Customer service/satisfaction is absolute garbage, hopefully they pull their heads out soon and fix these issues. 

I definitley agree with you. For such a large and succesfull app, they should have everything on point by now. I remember when they first came out I was skeptical... Now I know why I was. Dont get me wrong its an awesome program. I just wish they werent one of the only ones like it.

I still do not have the running feature. Iphone 6 128G, iOS 8.3, Spotify version 3.3.0.

I have the running feature but the NOW feature never arrived after it.  And I don't remember Running showing up after an app update, it just showed up one day.  But I agree, this rollout is a mess.  I am premium but it still took weeks to arrive.

 

It's only a spotify playlist too, it's not based on your playlists or music you saved locally.  It uses your data connection. 

same here. i am premium subscriber already using my iphone 6 plus 128 gb ios8.3 and spotify ver 3.3 and still i have no spotify running... how long will we wait for this feature? quite weird not everyone has this already. is this a problem with ios or iphone?

Just wanted to let you know that Spotify is on the case.

It may also help doing a full reinstallation if you haven't already. Also be sure that you are on iOS 8.
