"An error occurred. Try again" everywhere. App is unusable.

"An error occurred. Try again" everywhere. App is unusable.

iPhone 7+, running iOS 10.1.1 and Spotify v7.5.0.1023. I'm able to log into the app, but nothing else. When I go to any tab (Home, Browse, Search, Radio) I get the three loading dots for a second, then am greeted with the error "An error occurred. Try again." Hitting Try Again yields the same result.

 

I've tried:

-reinstalling the app

-downgrading to two other versions

-hard resetting the device

-deleting the app, hard resetting, then reinstalling

-logging out and in with a different account

-trying on both wifi and 4G cellular connection

-changing my phone's DNS

 

and nothing's work so far. still the same error. any ideas?

also, this just started today. I've been using Spotify for months without issue before this. I didn't update anything on my phone before this happened.

I have had this problem for over a month now.  Tried everything.  It doesn't work on any of my iOS devices.  I just about ready to quit my premium account.  I'm fed up with this buggy software.

Yep, no one seems to care or have any real answers. @SpotifyCares told me
to restore my iPhone as new and reinstall everything...
