My Question or Issue

spotify will only play the first ten seconds of most all of my songs. i have them all downloaded but spotify still won’t work, even when i connect to wifi.

Could you try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps

 

If that doesn't help, I noticed that your iOS version from your original post is iOS 13.5.1. The current iOS version as of 07/31/2020 is iOS 13.6. Could you try updating your device by going to Settings > General > Software Update?

 

If you're still having issues, attach a screenshot or screen recording (with sound), and I'll take a closer look 🔍

Reinstall fixed it for me.  Annoying.

Just to confirm, do you also have this issue? If so, can you confirm if you're using our free version or if you're subscribing to Spotify and have a Premium account?

My spotify premium is doing the same thing. Even after my software is up to date & i’ve reinstalled several times.

This type of issue is usually caused by remaining stored cache or the user could be logged in to a different account. We'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app. This is often an overlooked step, but it’s more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful to get rid of any cache that might be causing trouble. 


If the issue persists, would you mind checking in a different device otr the Web Player to see if it makes any difference?

Hey, I also use Premium, but have the problem in the Browser version. Anything I can do?
After reading all this I even logged out from my phone, but it´s still not working.

Can you let us know what device you're using? It would also be great if you can include your OS version and which browser you're using.

 

In the meantime you can try using an incognito browser window or another browser to see if that makes a difference.
