sync local files from ipod

Hi,

I've tried syncing the local files on my laptop to spotify. However it keeps copying double the number of files. I think this is because, for some reason, my itunes purchases are being saved in two locations on my computer, its possible something happened when I transferred my itunes from my previous laptop. Anyway, i wondered if I sync my ipod classic with spotify, then just the files from the ipod would be synced and, thus, no duplicates. Does anyone know if this would work?

Unfortunately not, the iPod sync functionality will only let you copy tracks onto an iPod (and manage the library) as far as I know. You can't copy tracks from an iPod that was not synced previously with Spotify.
